Matt and Kell Are Having a Baby!

So, as the majority of you already know, my good friends Matt and Kellie, who got married last May, are having a kid sometime in August, I think... I may need a reference point on the date...

They wanted their first to be unique - I mean really, they had to do SOMETHING to stand out against Matt's seven thousand brothers and sisters and their 35 kids... (BTW - one of those numbers was exaggerated and one was not... see if you can guess which one).

So this is what they did - after the ultrasound, they had the technician put the picture that explained the sex into a sealed envelope. (Oh, and they didn't know what it was). And then they bought two outfits at BabyWorld, one for a boy and one for a girl, and had the cashier check the envelope and put the appropriate outfit into a box and wrap it, without Matt and Kell seeing.

They then gathered friends and family for the unveiling...

So congratulations Matt and Kell on your GIRL - she's going to be the big-head having, big butt having, ornery (from the madula oblongata) little competitive machine that only Matt and Kell could produce...

(Oh, and the "Le-ah" thing - one of Matt's nephew's classmate's mother's called the school where both of their kids go, complaining that the teachers were mispronouncing her daughter's name - it's not pronounced "Leah" it's prononced "Le-dash-uh"... just liked it's spelled... And yes, that's the truth... you can't make this stuff up...)
