Employment Rocks!

So it's treated me well, but I'm taking a hiatus from campaign politics. How permanent is a hiatus? Who knows... but for now I'm considering it mildly temporary yet indeterminately permanent...

I've taken a new job as a policy consultant with the California Alliance for Jobs, an organization dedicated to creating infrastructure jobs within California. They are expanding their organizational perview to include water policy, THE hot button issue in Cali right now, and they've hired me to lead up that division.

It's pretty exciting new territory, and I'm looking forward to starting - I told ya'll that government was the one un-downsize-able industry - WOOT for employment!
